[He just lets this happen, using a free hand to de-good once they're in the safety of the house but he doesn't let go of Xion's hand yet. It's hard to place his expression given it's bordering on frustrated and worried. ]

[ wearing this today, she gently releases roxas's hand to roll up her sleeves and tug at the turtleneck. doing so reveals angry red marks upon her wrists and neck; whatever it was wrapped tight around both areas, with thorny punctures dotting her skin every few inches. ]
[Likewise, he's just allowing this and also keeping quiet, trying to parse what would be the best course of action here. Someone had tried to hurt Xion, and Hisoka...he would know, wouldn't he? About Axel and Xion, and there's a frown etched into his features as he thinks.

[ on wednesday morning, xion comes back through the gateway in tears. it isn't because something fucking awful has happened to her again, though—as she bursts through the door of lea's house (strangely already expecting a certain someone to be there, too?), the source of her overwhelming burst of emotion should be clear as day. ]
[That someone is definitely already here, and when Xion enters the house with a tiny bundle of fur he looks up, mouth falling open just a little in surprise.]
They're everywhere...[He's also probably sitting on the bed, it's fine.]
I think we all did... [As evidenced by the high-pitched and almost annoyed mew as a black kitten launches itself from behind Roxas to crawl up to his shoulder. It also promptly headbutts him in the chin.]
I wasn't gonna, but... [ axel's kitten demonstrates why it was adopted by attempting to leap to try to grab roxas's kitten and nearly falls to its doom, and then immediately gets distracted by a hoodie string when axel catches it.
[ she quickly makes her way over to the bed to let her lil kitty meet its new friends... it's a little reluctant to leave xion's arms, though. it is nice and comfy where it is, thanks. ]
[Goodbye cat. Roxas nearly jumps when Axel's kitten starts to fall but at least cat is secure. His own cat, however, hisses at Axel's cat, apparently affronted by this gesture.
On the other hand Roxas shifts to make room for both Xion and her new friend and he holds out a hand for the kitty to check him out.]

even after everyone has cleared from the meeting hall following today's execution, xion... hasn't moved. she hadn't moved when axel stabbed naminé, when the darkness beckoned out to all of them again, when only seven of them were left at the end; and she's not moving now.
[ well. axel's not sure what to do with the bloody sword after namine's corpse has gone, and it's that hesitation that lets him see xion just uhhhh break? again?
that's a bad time. he lets it clatter to the floor and walks over to her, hesitating ]
[It's after the execution and so he still has his hood. He left, but he never went that far and he returns to the scene to find his two best friends lingering behind. Wordlessly he picks up the sword and he tries not to look at it too much as he banished it away, soon bowing his head and shuffling over to the other two. ]
