[There's a tuxedo cat trotting right up to her to demand attention, meowing happily-- and there appears to be a second white cat, but it flees as soon as Xion enters, a white tail disappearing under the bed the only sign it was there. He sighs at the cat currently bothering her, trying to beckon him back over.]
[ luckily, xion is far more trusting of animals than she is of shirasu. she crouches down to let the tuxedo that approaches her sniff her hand, while the cat on her shoulder mimics the one that ran under the bed, curling itself into her neck.
she freezes for a moment, though, when shirasu calls the cat's name. ]
[ and she leaves it at that, petting the cat sora with a difficult-to-read expression on her face. she seems happy that the cat is being so playful with her, but there's an unshakable hint that something about that name bothers her a little. ]
[ her eye still focused on the cat before her and not shirasu himself, she shakes her head. she will give soranyaru as much attention as he wants, tbh. ]
There's an important person named Sora where I'm from, too... I guess it's just a popular name.
I've never met him... but he's supposed to be an amazing person.
[ again, he'll have to press her a little more if he wants to find out about this other sora. but now that the cat's done being an attention ho, xion rises back onto her feet and keeps her face even, giving a couple of soothing pets to the shy kitten on her shoulder. ]
Anyone will lash out, backed into a corner. We all know being known for something like that is an invitation to be targeted, or at best, to simply be a safe vote... if he'd done it differently, the results may have been different as well.
[he doesn't anticipate surviving-- of course he tried to take axel down with him.]
As for Kazuaki... I hoped to get rid of my partner and obtain a new one, but I wasn't leaving my options fully up to chance.
[ "then maybe you shouldn't have lied, or killed anyone at all" is what she wants to say, but even though she knows she was under the influence of the corruption... she knows she isn't exactly in a position to say anything without looking like a hypocrite, so she bites her tongue on that much.

[ for as much disdain she has for him for his murderous intent, she does not disregard whatever he felt while reliving what must have been a painful moment. ]
[it's nothing he'd have wanted anyone else to see, he dislikes the idea of anyone knowing about that attachment-- up until now, he'd fully intended on just pretending that it never happened at all.
